About the House and Area
Immerse yourself in the serene beauty of the Ozark Mountains with a stay at Big Hollow Retreat on Sinking Creek. Nestled amongst 37 wooded acres and surrounded by the Mark Twain National Forest, this 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home offers stunning views of the crystal clear creek from its kitchen, master bedroom, and bunkbed room.
Within close proximity lies the awe-inspiring Echo Bluff State Park, boasting numerous hiking trails, swimming, mountain biking, picnic areas, playgrounds, wild horses, and the popular Creekside Grill offering mouth-watering farm-to-table meals. Adventure seekers may explore the Roger Pryor Pioneer Backcountry and Sunklands, while nature lovers will marvel at nearby Round Springs, Pulltite Spring, Alley Spring and Mill, Blue Spring, Welch Spring, Devils Well, and Rocky Falls. The Most Popular Activity For Visitors Is...
Our home can accommodate up to five adults and four children, with the master bedroom having its own four-piece en suite bathroom. The first guest bedroom offers a queen-size bed with a flat-screen television, and the bunkbed room has a double bunkbed and twin bed to suit 4-5 children.
The family room has a spacious seating area with a flat-screen TV and cabinets below housing various outdoor and indoor toys. The kitchen is outfitted with a small oven, Keurig coffeemaker (including samples), Mr. Coffeemaker, ice tea maker, and hot water kettle, as well as a separate refrigerator for beverages.
Outside, the 18x24-foot covered deck overlooking the creek boasts two fans with lights, a patio dining table, a picnic table, and a gas grill. There is a flood light illuminating the yard when you want to cozy up to the fire pit.
